The Critic

‹The Critic› is a two-person drama by the Spanish playwright Juan Mayorga, who is also well known in Korea for works like ‹La tortuga de Darwin›, ‹The Boy in the Last Row› and ‹Way to Heaven›. The work begins as the playwright Skarpa visits the critic Bolodia  and begs the critic for his clemency on his write-up.
In the sharp clash between a critic who tries to maintain cool criticism and a playwright who wishes to be approved by him, the work asks what attitude we must take towards reality and theater.
