Studio Visit Program is designed to provide the artists-in-residence with the opportunity to meet with prominent international curators and critics. Through in-depth conversations with arts professionals, each artist’s pursuit and studio practice are reviewed and reinforced.

Melanie Kress
On June 15th, Melanie Kress, Assistant Curator at High Line Art, visited Xooang Choi at DOOSAN Residency New York. Melanie Kress and the artist spent time looking at his previous work and discussed methodologies and cultural influences in his work.

Christopher Lew
On June 20th, Christopher Lew, Associate Curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art, visited Min Oh at DOOSAN Residency New York. During the studio visit, Min Oh presented her works while also discussing her conceptual interest and practices.
