Studio Visit Program is designed to provide the artists-in-residence with the opportunity to meet with prominent international curators and critics. Through in-depth conversations with arts professionals, each artist’s pursuit and studio practice are reviewed and reinforced.

Susan Thompson
On December 19th, Susan Thompson, Assistant Curator at the Guggenheim Museum, visited YOU Hyeonkyeong, Jae Young Park, and Eunsil Lee at DOOSAN Residency New York. Susan Thompson and the artists discussed cultural influence on the works of art in relation to their experiences in New York and spent time carefully looking at the works and their approach.

Carmen Hermo
On December 20th, Carmen Hermo, Assistant Curator at Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum, visited YOU Hyeonkyeong, Jae Young Park, and Eunsil Lee at DOOSAN Residency New York. During the individual studio visits, the artists presented their works while discussing their interests and philosophy.
