'Venus in Fur' is a theatrical adaptation of the original novel by playwright David Ives. Based on the motif of masochism, the play, taking place in an audition for main female character, explores the concept of the power of authority. The actual figures in reality and the figures in the novels who are played by such characters are exquisitely mixed, and the boundary between realtity and fantasy becomes ambiguous.
