Information

Inspired by ‘Das Kapital’, published in 1867, which I came to read later in my life, ‹Triangular Structure› contemplates on the value of labor of artists in the Korean society in 2016. With completely different perspectives and ways of working, Oh, Jae Woo, Lee, Hee Moon, Chang, Hyun Joon experiment with how much their labor is worth, and is capable of having. Based on their own experiences, the three artists explore measures of defining the value of their artistic labor by looking at their creative practices and outcomes, and the systems and the environment that surround them.
