Writer Lee Bo ram’s new play Women Shed No Tears depicts the daily life of a female victim of sexual assault following the incident of the crime. One day, her husband is charged with multiple sexual offences, consequently invoking the painful experience of her own sexual assault in the past. The playwright presents to the audience the unavoidable reality in which the victim’s pain and the perpetrator’s guilt are made to coexist.
