Theplay Mudflat is a new work by KimEun-sung, selected for Doosan Art Center’s Artists Incubator Program. Kimbrings Chekhov’s The Seagull to thevillage of Beolgyo in South Jeolla Province in 1981. Un-chang, a member of acollege band in Gwangju, returns to his hometown Beolgyo with his guitaristJeong-seok. Since visiting Gwangju in May, Un-chang has been pursuing new musicand concentrating on writing songs, and has formed a three-member rock band.Hong-ja, who aspires to become a singer, has joined them as a vocalist.
