DOOSAN Art Center will host Hanna Hur: 8, which takes place at the DOOSAN Gallery, opening on November 13th (Wed.), 2024. This will be the Los Angeles-based artist’s debut solo exhibition in Seoul, Korea. DOOSAN Gallery has long supported young Korean artists and this exhibition expands the exhibition program by featuring, for the first time, a diasporic Korean artist. The exhibition is co-curated by DOOSAN Gallery Chief Curator Hyejung Jang and Christopher Y. Lew, founder of C/O: Curatorial Office. Born in Toronto, Canada, and currently based in Los Angeles, Hur explores the realms of human visual experience and the cognitive systems through her painting and installation works with a minimalistic and delicate language.
