The Art of Forgetting

‹The Art of Forgetting› is a performance organized in commemoration of the late director Kim, Dong Hyun and his works. The performance invites the audience to experience and feel the present moment on which Kim reflected through the play, as well as the power of imagination which Kim thought was possible only through theater.

The first work, ‹are you okay?› focuses on reconstructing collaborative works, which lie as the central axis of Kim’s theatrical concept, with new writings added. The audience experiences the familiarity of coming across upon works of the past, simultaneously with the sense of strangeness of encountering and clashing with familiar works.

The second work ‹A Sunday Afternoon› is a new work by the playwright Bae, Sam Sik and unfolds the psychological landscape.
