Every Brilliant Thing
The one-man play ‹Every Brilliant Thing› by Duncan McMillan premiered at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it received rave reviews. It tells the story about its protagonist who has experienced depression since age seven when his mother passed away. While shedding light on the sorrows and frustrations that dot the maturation process in a person’s life, it also warmly conveys the message that life is still worth living. A work through which the performers and the audience communicate and console each other’s lives, ‹Every Brilliant Thing› reflects on valuable things that have been forgotten.
